"Beth is fantastic. The mood board she put together for me really showed that she knew exactly the creative angle I was trying to make. The final logo and design elements were fantastic. Really great job! I would absolutely work with Beth again."
Project Deliverables:
-
Brand Audit
-
Market Research
-
Single Page Brand Identity Guide
-
All logo, pattern, type and illustration files
-
Canva templates
The business goal was to create a strategic approach to the re-branding and marketing of Roxana's brand.
The design challenge was to create a brand that resonated with females with ADHD and potentially mental health issues and creating two separate logos one under Roxana's name and one under the name of her business ADHD Advantage and unifying them together under one single brand.
I solved these challenges by;
-
Conducting a brand audit and market research to inform design and marketing decisions.
-
Creating a colour pallet that felt gentle, caring, reassuring, feminine, and airy.
-
Creating a vector illustration of a butterfly, symbolic of the ADHD fluttering mind.
-
Creating a vector illustration of the same butterfly but within someone's mind, linking the two logos together, creating more versatility, and assisting the viewer's visual interpretation.
-
Creating a series of templates including banners for socials, reel covers, and social posts, which allows Roxana to post high-quality branded posts easily without assistance.
Brand Audit:
The client wanted me to start off by giving her already-up-and-running brand an Instagram Audit so I could identify areas for improvement, this consisted of: Profile analysis, Brand Identity, Content Strategy, Instagram Competitor Analysis, and Audience analysis.
Market Research:
I created a market research presentation for the client as she needed assistance gathering this information, in this presenatation the client discovers their brands: Target Audience, User Personas, Competitor Analysis, Online Research, Colour Psychology, Questionnaires/Interviews, SWOT Analysis, Brand Pillars, and Data Analysis.
Moodboard:
I created a mood board based on the information the client had given me, this gave the client a clearer idea of her brand's aesthetic and how it will look. I often talk this part through with the client to explain my reasoning for everything placed on the moodboard so they can understand the vision.

Completed brand:
Once I was sure the client was happy with the art direction I set to work creating a Primary and Secondary logo, two Submarks for both variations of her brand. I then created two digital vector illustrations that harnesed the use of the butterfly which is a symbol commonly used to represent the fluttering mind of ADHD individuals. I used this illustration to create a repeating Brand Pattern and also used it in the primary and secondary logos. I then added Typography, created the Colour Pallet along with a colour application guide, and creating a few Gradients for the client to use as backgrounds. I then created a series of branded templates for the client to use directly in their Canva brand kit including social posts and social headers.
